The Milan EICMA bike show proved it is still the leading Italian show for everyone in the two-wheeled industry on Sunday.
The confirmation came from the huge number of visitors that poured into the Rho Exhibition centre to admire all the new bikes and accessories for 2010.

The most surprising moment of Sunday was the huge interest for the convention explaining the new Italian government economic incentives to boost bicycle sales. The convention was organised the bicycle industrial association ANCMA and gave details of the 7.7 million Euro made available by the Ministry for the Environment, starting from September 25.

Bike manfacturers, importers, dealers and customers listened carefully to Giovanni Rossi of the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Maurizio Zampieri of management company Ecocerved as they explained how the new IT system for the incentives works. The site is: www.incentivibiciclette.minambiente.it .

Sunday also saw the PedalatAzzura ride start and finish at the EICMA show, with almost 500 cyclists riding together for 65km in the warm autumn sun.

Monday September 21 is the final day of this year’s bike show before the motorbike show in November (10-15).

A huge number of exhibitors have registed for November, with 50 on a special waiting list.
