Yamaha decided to attend EICMA 2017 for the exclusive lauch of Niken, the first vehicle of a brand new family. Following the three-wheeler Tricity scooter experience, Yamaha applies its exclusive LMW (Leaning Multi Wheeler) technology on the new Niken concept bike, powered by a liquid-cooled inline 3-cylinder engine equipped with 3 Riding Mode and traction control system. This project, according to Yamaha, will increase both performance and fun as a result. As said before, its leaning system, derived from the Tricity model, makes full use of a front-end suspension mechanism equipped with dual-tube upside-down forks. Furthermore its 15-inch front wheels contribute to emphasize the machine’s sporty performance. The Yamaha Niken model will be exhibited at EICMA 2017, pavilion 24, booth I 52.
