ATTENTION

Only people with pre-registration (bar code) can directly enter from the indicated Cargo gates. People without barcode must go to the LOGISTICS Ticket Counter, located in the East connection building (cargo 1 entrance), for registration.

 

 

 

 

Important information

 



Access to Fairground is allowed only with a Barcode identifying vehicles and people working inside the booth. Each Barcode can be printed at the exhibitor’s company using the link on the e-mail we will send for registering your vehicles and staff members For the Setting up/Dismantling badges, when you are in the Fairground, you must reach one of the Totems and place your barcode on its laser reader to obtain the badges. Access to Fairground of authorized people for booth setting up is limited to those who have and wear their own work permit - badge -. Each badge must be filled in completely (article 4 Technical Regulations).
Exhibitor badge filled in with the exhibiting company’s data, name and surname of the person can replace
the building-up passes.
The surveillance service will check by sample the validity of personal badges and their matching with
current identity document.
Unauthorized people and under 15 children are not allowed to enter the Exhibition areas where
setting up and/or dismantling are in progress.
 
The Logistics Department for registering people and vehicles without barcodes and/or for issuing
additional badges is located in the East connection building – entrance from Cargo 1.

Cars not transporting assembly material CANNOT enter the Fairground. External car parks are available near the Exhibition Center.

Rules about vehicle circulation in the Fairground are listed in Article 4.2 of Technical Regulations and subject to the Highway Code. In particular, traffic signs and the 30kph speed limit must be carefully observed.
Inside the halls, when permitted by security officers, vehicles may only proceed at walking pace. It is absolutely forbidden for vehicles to park in front of “keep clean” signs, fire hydrants, emergency exits, near crossroads or in front of public emergency services (First Aid, Fire Brigade, etc.). Vehicles may not park inside the Fairground overnight, even in case of engine failure. The deadline for parking is the halls closing time. Failure to observe regulations will imply a charge of € 250,00 + VAT for each night or part thereof.
 

During the setting up and dismantling periods, the vehicles parking for loading/unloading activities is allowed for a maximum of 2 hours. Stops longer than two hours could be subject to a fine of € 50.00 + VAT per excess hour or part of an hour. Empty vehicles can be parked in a parking area, located in “Largo delle Nazioni”.
The non observance of vehicular traffic regulations will imply penalties and fines as mentioned in the Technical Regulations.
Fiera Milano will remove all cars parked in unauthorized areas.
 
The competent public safety authorities may carry out random inspections of vehicles and goods leaving the Exhibition Center.
 
On Saturday October 30th from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., on Sunday October 31st and Monday November 1st from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. no thoroughfare outside urban areas for vehicles heavier than 7,5 tons. Please check the websites of “Comune Milano” (www.comune.milano.it) and “Regione Lombardia” (www.ambiente.regione.lombardia.it) for updated information about the traffic bans in Milan and surroundings.
 
For any other information relevant to setting up, dismantling and/or technical details, please refer to your copy of the Technical Regulations. Fiera Milano relating to any logistical and/or safety requirements, while previously informing all concerned, reserves the right to modify times and procedures of this schedule at any time.
