The Sunday at EICMA also opens with a peaceful invasion by the general public. The eight halls of Fiera Milano-Rho of the 877th edition are packed, but the many visitors are thrilled this year not only by the many new products of the two-wheel industry and the exciting proposals in the outdoor areas. Revolutionary motion, the theme of 2019, continues to live in the special contents offered by the International Cycle and Motorcycle Show .

 

There are three areas where fans can come into contact with the present and the future of the sector: the onededicated to e-bikes with the test ride circuit, the Temporary Bikers Shop and the Start-Up and Innovation area. It is in the last-named area that young entrepreneurial initiatives, which find a unique showcase at EICMA where they can present ideas, solutions and prototypes to the general public and professionals, are concentrated in particular.

 

This year there are nine international start-ups that occupy this area, starting from electric scooter sharing and an appfor motorbike communities, via intelligent supports for mobile phones and foldable tows, but also innovative start-ups that make electric motorcycles and devices for motorcyclists that warn about approaching sensitive points through vibrations as well as the various solutions conceived for zero-emission vehicles that can faithfully reproduce the sounds and sensations of a motorbike with a heat engine. 

 

Then there is room for E-Bike, the real stars of this 77thedition. An even larger area compared to 2018 is dedicated this year to the world of assisted pedalling, with the main figures of this sector. And, brand new this year, there is the chance to test the electric two wheels in Hall 18 where an indoor test ride area has been set up. This is a unique occasion to discover all their potential through a track that covers over 200 metres.

 

 

Lastly, the Temporary Bikers Shop, the exclusive commercial space dedicated to bikers is back for the sixth year running and was taken by assault from the first hours of opening by the lovers of shopping for two wheels. In this area, visitors can buy accessories, clothing, helmets, components and all kinds of equipment.
