Yamaha has already unveiled the all-new 2020 R1 some weeks ago during the Superbike World Championship round at Laguna Seca. Among the protagonists at the next EICMA Show in Milan, the 2020 R1 project continues to evolve and is becoming even more competitive in Superbike World Championship. All-new bodywork (+ 5% efficiency) as well as improved electronics, which now include the Engine Brake Management, are among distinctive features. Even the chassis has earn in terms of efficiency. Anyway, Yamaha engineers confirm the 4-cylinder inline engine with a declared power of 200 hp, now compliant with Euro5 regulations. All these updates also concern the R1M version, which can also count on the new pressurized Öhlins fork.
