EICMA Riding X Fest takes place on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026 at Ottobiano Motorsport in Ottobiano (PV).
The event is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and offers two full days dedicated entirely to off-road riding, with more than 150 motorcycles available to test, Cross and Enduro activities, new 2027 model-range launches, activities for young riders and beginners, motorcycle manufacturers, riders, talents, dedicated areas for accessories and technical apparel, entertainment and a food area.
Yes. Admission to the event and participation in test rides and experiences are free of charge.
However, to access the event you must download the EICMA Official App, available on the App Store and Google Play, register for EICMA Riding X Fest and obtain your admission pass.
Please note: participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent (proxies or delegated guardians are not permitted), both for admission to the event and for participation in activities specifically intended for them, in accordance with the procedures set out during the registration process.
No. This is a very important step to keep in mind.
Registering for EICMA Riding X Fest allows you to enter the event, but to take part in the test rides you must also complete the specific TEST RIDE registration procedure within the EICMA Official App.
Once you have registered for the event, go to the TEST RIDE section, complete all the required fields and obtain your dedicated QR Code, which is required for accreditation at the test areas.
No. Registration through the App does not allow you to reserve a specific motorcycle or test-ride slot in advance.
You can choose your motorcycle directly at Ottobiano from those made available by the participating manufacturers. More than 150 motorcycles will be available, including many new models from the 2027 range.
Access to the test rides will be subject to the availability of slots and places for each experience.
Five different experiences are planned, designed to offer riding opportunities for different ages and levels of experience:
XCROSS AMATEUR, for those who want to experience Cross riding on a more accessible track;
XENDURO, dedicated to Enduro riding;
XCROSS PRO, designed for more experienced riders;
ROOKIE ACADEMX by FMI, for young people and adults who want to take their first steps into off-road riding;
EICMA for Kids Off-Road, dedicated to children aged 6 to 12.
You therefore do not need to be an expert rider to enjoy EICMA Riding X Fest: there are activities specifically designed for people who have never ridden off-road before and would like to try it for the first time.
The XCROSS AMATEUR and XENDURO experiences are reserved exclusively for participants aged 18 and over.
To take part, you must hold a valid Category A or A2 motorcycle licence and arrive with the technical clothing and protective equipment required for off-road riding.
Remember to bring your driving licence with you: eligibility requirements will be checked during accreditation at the test areas.
The XCROSS PRO Experience is reserved for participants aged 18 and over with more advanced off-road riding experience.
To take part, you must hold a valid FMI Off-Road Licence — either national or regional — or a valid FMI Sport Membership Card.
You must bring your licence or membership card with you and present it during accreditation.
Licences issued by other Sports Promotion Bodies are not accepted.
Yes. An important part of EICMA Riding X Fest is specifically dedicated to children, teenagers and anyone who wants to experience off-road riding for the first time.
EICMA for Kids Off-Road is dedicated to children aged 6 to 12. Technical clothing and protective equipment for this experience are provided free of charge. Participants are required to wear long trousers and closed-toe shoes.
ROOKIE ACADEMX by FMI, on the other hand, is open to participants aged 14 to 99 and is designed for anyone who wants to take their first steps into off-road riding alongside instructors from the Italian Motorcycling Federation, even without a driving licence. The activity is therefore not limited to teenagers: adult beginners can also take part. Basic technical clothing and protective equipment may also be provided in this area.
All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
Yes. If you want to take part in the XCROSS AMATEUR, XENDURO or XCROSS PRO test rides, you must arrive at Ottobiano with complete technical clothing and protective equipment suitable for off-road riding.
A helmet, boots, gloves and all the protective equipment required for the activity are therefore mandatory.
Without the required technical equipment, you will not be allowed to take part in the test ride.
For EICMA for Kids Off-Road, technical equipment is provided free of charge; for ROOKIE ACADEMX by FMI, basic technical clothing and protective gear may be made available.
