At Hall 9, Booth I68 of the 2025 Milan Show, visitors will be able to see up close some pieces of motocross history from the 1950s to the 1970s. The Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI) will in fact showcase eight examples from the “ASI Motocross Golden Era – The Gian Pio Ottone Doctor Cross Collection”, the largest and most important collection of motocross bikes representing the golden age of the sport. For EICMA, the following models have been chosen from the 91 models that make up the collection: the Gilera Saturno 500, Italian champion in 1953 with Domenico Fenocchio; the Bianchi 250, Italian champion in 1960 with Emilio Ostorero; the Aermacchi Ala d'Oro 250, Italian champion in 1961 with Lanfranco Angelini; and the Greeves Hawkstone 250, European champion in 1961 with Dave Bickers. There is also a quartet of world champions: the 1965 BSA 441 Victor GP (Jeff Smith), the 1966 Lito 500 (Sten Lundin), the 1966 Husqvarna 250 (Torsten Hallman), and the 1967 CZ 360 Bitubo (Paul Friedrichs).
