CFMOTO unveils at EICMA 2025 the 1000MT-X, the new flagship of the MT family designed for riders looking for a large adventure bike with serious off-road capability. At its heart is an in-house–developed 948.2 cc parallel-twin engine delivering 83 kW (113 hp) and 105 Nm of torque. Power management is handled by ride-by-wire electronics, while the 6-speed gearbox features both a quickshifter and a slipper clutch. Weighing in at 222 kg ready to ride, the bike is impressively light for its class. The 22.3-liter fuel tank promises generous range, while the vertically oriented 8-inch TFT display is easy to read even when standing on the pegs. Aluminum protection parts and Bluetooth connectivity come standard. The equipment list includes an adjustable seat (830–870 mm), adjustable windscreen, cruise control, and heated seat and grips for added comfort. Fully adjustable KYB suspension offers 230 mm of travel up front and 190 mm at the rear — true enduro figures. The 21" and 18" wire-spoke wheels are fitted with Pirelli STR tires for mixed on- and off-road use, while Brembo supplies brakes with front radial calipers. Bosch electronics include cornering ABS and traction control, both adjustable or switchable off for more aggressive riding.
