Although at first glance it may not seem to introduce major changes, Kawasaki Z900RS 2026 brings substantial updates. Hidden beneath its retro look — a clear homage to the legendary 1970s Z1 — come Ride-by-Wire with electronic throttle, cruise control, and electronic throttle valves. A new rider-assistance system based on an IMU inertial platform also debuts, featuring the Kawasaki Cornering Management Function and a bidirectional Quick Shifter. The inline-four engine has been optimized to improve smoothness at low revs without losing its liveliness at higher speeds, while the new megaphone exhaust with redesigned headers delivers a more expressive sound. On the chassis side, the Z900RS 2026 maintains a sporty setup with a 41 mm adjustable upside-down fork and a rear monoshock. The front brakes feature radial-mounted calipers and 300 mm discs. The standard seat height is 835 mm, with a lower 810 mm option also available. The Z900RS SE represents the top of the range, equipped with Brembo brakes, Öhlins suspension, and a USB-C port, and stands out with its Metallic Spark Black color scheme. The Z900RS lineup is available in 70 kW and 35 kW versions.
