The collaboration between Honda RedMoto and Picasso Engineering has given rise to the OMT 450c Factory, the first Flat Track motorcycle to introduce the Dynamic Adaptive Stiffness Technology (DAST). The acronym refers to a frame composed of carbon side members connected to CNC-machined alloy nodes. Each side member can be replaced with variants of different lay-ups, allowing the stiffness profile to be modified, even asymmetrically. At the heart of the motorcycle is the Honda CRF 450R engine. Alongside the technical story, the project introduces Picasso Mood, a creative collaboration with urban artist Mood. In his vision, lines are transformed into faces, expressions and emotions, as if speed had its own human identity.
