Among the keywords that best define the 2025 edition of EICMA are “safety” and “style”— and both concepts immediately bring Shoei to mind. The Japanese helmet manufacturer is showcasing some interesting new products to the Milan Fair, covering just about every market segment. The J•O2 open-face helmet has been developed for riders who love feeling at one with their surroundings. It is available in eight colours and four graphics. The snap buttons on the forehead area allow the attachment of optional peak visors. The six sizes (from XS to XXL) are built using four different outer shells. For the 2026 model, the integrated CJ-4 sun visor has been enlarged to meet ECE 22/06 regulations. This feature now also characterizes the Hornet ADV 06 crossover helmet, which likewise comes in six sizes derived from four shells. In the 2026 collection, it will be offered in five colours and two graphics. Another new feature for EICMA is the FIM 02–approved version of the X-SPR Pro racing helmet. The new X-SPR Pro 02 will be available in white and matte black at dealerships in early 2026. Last but not least, among the previews is the GT-Air 3 Smart, which marks the debut of an integrated HUD (head-up display) visor. This system allows GPS directions, speed information, and phone calls to be projected into the rider’s field of view on the integrated sun visor. The GT-Air 3 Smart helmet and the Eyelights HUD system will be sold separately from the end of next year.
