On EICMA’s catwalk of this year the new Yamaha Niken GT 2023. From an aesthetic point of view, this three-wheeler bike received some updates, like the new seat design and the new adjustable windshield, in addition to the 7-inch TFT instrumentation. Furthermore, Yamaha MyRide and Garmin Motorize apps now give the rider the opportunity to connected the vehicle to the smartphone and also benefit of full-screen useful info also concerning turn-by-turn navigation. What is really outstanding, however, is the specifically developed 890cc CP3 EU5 engine derived from the Tracer 9 together with a new Ride-by-Wire accelerator and a more advanced control unit. Yamaha engineers also designed a new clutch with assist and slip functions; the six-speed transmission also gains a full quickshifter. The Yamaha Niken GT will be available from February 2023, equipped as standard with heated handgrips and 30-litre hard side cases.
