At EICMA 2024, Triumph will also showcase the new Speed Twin 900, a revamped Modern Classic that nevertheless retains celebrated 900cc high-torque Bonneville twin engine, which delivers 65 hp at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 80 Nm at 3800 rpm. New features include a major styling refresh, with a sportier, deeply sculpted fuel tank, throttle body covers featuring more dynamic lines, slimmer engine cases, a shorter silencer, a more compact full-LED headlamp cluster, and a complete overhaul of the chassis, starting with the frame, modified to give the riding experience more fun. Suspension, all Marzocchi branded, has been updated with an upside-down front fork and preload adjustable rear suspension, linked to a stiffer and lighter aluminium rear swingarm. Electronics include ride-by-wire technology and offer two riding modes, Road and Rain, for increased safety in wet conditions, implemented by cornering ABS and traction control.
