With the 2027 model year, KTM updates the 790 Duke without radically altering the original concept. Starting with the styling, the bike adopts a refreshed look inspired by its bigger 990 and 1390 siblings.
Key features include a new front headlight, slimmer bodywork, and a redesigned fuel tank. The proven 799 cc LC8c parallel-twin engine, now finished in black, paired with a new exhaust system and compliant with Euro 5+ regulations, delivers 95 hp and 87 Nm of torque, while also being available in a restricted version for A2 licence holders. The riding position has been significantly revised thanks to a wider handlebar, repositioned footpegs, and a reshaped seat, which is mounted on a newly redesigned subframe. The list of updates continues with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres and a braking system developed in-house by KTM and branded WP. And that's not all, because the suspension package on the 2027 KTM 790 Duke has also evolved. The WP APEX platform receives detailed updates both front and rear. The 43 mm upside-down fork offers 150 mm of travel and separate compression and rebound adjustment across five clicks. The gas-pressurised Monotube rear shock, meanwhile, provides 170 mm of travel, with rebound adjustment over five clicks and preload adjustment. All these improvements contribute to a weight reduction of 2 kg.
