Area 51 followed the Hashtag 125 format but was entirely dedicated to geared 50cc and equivalent electric vehicles.
Tests took place within a fenced-off area in the paddock, where participants, led by a front rider, could test different 50cc models from participating brands.
Each test lasted 10 minutes and was reserved for holders of a valid AM (or higher) license. Riders could try up to three bikes from different brands, subject to availability.
An exclusive opportunity was also offered to beginners aged 13 and up without a license, who could enjoy a 30-minute introductory program—including a theoretical and a practical session—under the guidance of certified instructors.
Both experiences—with or without a license—were available for free directly on site at the dedicated Area 51 desk, subject to vehicle availability.
Mandatory gear included helmet, gloves, closed shoes, and protective riding equipment, all of which was provided free of charge by the area’s technical sponsor if needed. Participating brands included: Beta and Fantic.
