Visitors of EICMA 2025 don’t find in the halls just the big brands dominating the sales charts. There are also lesser-known manufacturers, among them GR1T, an international start-up which, with the support of Rimini-based Wheelab, is presenting two models. These are the G1S Street and the G1X Scrambler, both built on the same technical platform. What they share is a frame that combines steel elements with aluminium components. The project’s priorities are compactness and practicality. To give a few figures: the wheelbase is just 1,345 mm, while the claimed weight is under 130 kg. As for performance, the electric motor delivers a nominal output of 11 kW—a value that allows 16-year-olds with an A1 licence to ride the G1 models. Peak power is 36 hp and top speed is 130 km/h. The real highlight of the GR1T G1, however, is the pair of removable batteries. They can therefore be conveniently recharged at home or at the office from any standard power outlet. The batteries themselves are also available in different sizes, depending on whether the priority is range or lightness. The standard units have a total capacity of around 6 kWh, providing a stated range of roughly 150 km. Deliveries will begin in 2027.
