For 2027, Ducati confirms its motocross range with the Desmo450 MX and Desmo450 MX Factory models, which share the same mechanical and chassis base but differ in terms of specific components and equipment.
Both motorcycles feature a 449.6 cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine with desmodromic four-valve timing, capable of delivering 63.5 CV at 9,400 rpm and 53.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The 5-speed gearbox features Quick Shift, whilst the electronic control system includes Riding Modes, traction control, engine braking and Launch Control. The aluminium frame is paired with fully adjustable Showa suspension, a Brembo braking system with Galfer discs and Pirelli Scorpion MX32 Mid-Soft tyres. The kerb weight is 104.8 kg. The Factory version stands out for its full Akrapovič titanium exhaust system with dedicated mapping, Showa suspension with TiO and Dark Kashima coatings, billet-machined Ergal steering plates and the Holeshot device. The Ducati Com-Link Wi-Fi module also allows riders to adjust electronic settings via an app and view performance data. Thanks to specific components, the weight is reduced to 104 kg.
