At EICMA 2023 Honda introduces the new Africa Twin Adventure Sports, the first Africa Twin adopting a 19” front wheel. As for the chassis, the electronically controlled Showa EEra suspension travel now has been reduced: 210 mm front and 200 mm rear. This means further reduction in terms of ground clearance (from 250mm to 220mm) and seat height (855 mm), to make the bike even more accessible and comfortable. The engine, in common with the 2023 Adventure Sports, is a 1,084 cc parallel twin capable of 102hp. For 2024 the maximum available torque increases by 7 Nm, with the peak being reached 750 rpm earlier. Among others new features, DCT dual-clutch transmission, which has been updated to improve throttle management and reduce the on/off effect.
