Benelli expands its lineup with the TRK 902 Xplorer, a crossover built for riders eager to push their wheels far beyond the asphalt.
The new adventure machine's off-road DNA is clear at a glance: a compact, manually adjustable windscreen, handguards with integrated turn signals, standard LED auxiliary lights, and—most importantly—spoked wheels measuring 19 inches up front and 17 in the rear, wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR M+S tires. Feeding the journey is a 21-liter fuel tank, while a punchy 904cc twin-cylinder engine beats at its core, pumping out 93.2 hp (68.5 kW) at 9,000 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Power delivery is managed by a Ride-By-Wire throttle featuring three distinct riding modes: Normal, Rain, and Sport. The sturdy steel trellis frame with reinforcing plates is paired with a fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchi upside-down fork (handling rebound, compression, and preload). In the rear, a monoshock with a remote adjuster handles hydraulic rebound damping and spring preload. Suspension travel sits at a generous 170mm, ground clearance reaches 215mm, and the seat height is set at an accessible 840mm. Stopping power is anchored by Brembo: dual 320mm discs with 4-piston radial calipers up front, and a single 260mm disc with a 2-piston caliper in the back, all governed by a disengageable cornering ABS for supreme off-road control. The tech sheet is stacked with rider aids, including a switchable Traction Control system, Quick Shift, Cruise Control, and a TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). Safety reaches the next level thanks to an advanced radar-based ADAS suite featuring Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Change Assist (LCA), and Rear Collision Warning (RCW). The cockpit features a crisp 7-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. A USB port, along with a three-stage heated seat and heated grips, rounds out the all-weather gear. The Benelli TRK 902 Xplorer is available in Jungle Fog Green, Dune Sea, and Cement Grey. Until October 31st, the motorcycle comes bundled with a complete set of aluminum luggage cases.
