After building enduro and naked bikes, the Italian manufacturer Moto Morini is now introducing its new Calibro, a truly compact cruiser that perfectly fits into this specific fast-growing market. In line with other models of the same brand, the engine is a 650 cm³ parallel twin-cylinder capable of about 60hp. A new element is the belt-driven 6-speed transmission, also adopted by "true" custom bikes. The Calibro will also be available in a 35 kW version for A2 license holders. All new, however, is the dedicated frame: a double-cradle steel chassis on which rests the 16-liter fuel tank. Inevitable is the double rear shock absorber. What about the wheels? 18 front and 16 rear, which can accommodate either a /60 or a /65 tyre. Footpegs are adjustable, allowing the user to choose between a more cruiser (legs forward) or more street riding position. The seat it is positioned at 720 mm from the ground only.
