Ducati presents the new Panigale V4 R

Ducati presents the new Panigale V4 R at EICMA 2022. It adopts a brushed aluminium tank with a capacity increased to 17 litres together with two carbon wings, now more compact and thinner than in the past. The engine adopts “gun drilled” titanium connecting rods and pistons with DLC surface treatment. Furthermore, the new 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine in track setup provides 240.5 hp at 15,500 rpm, also featuring Akrapovič titanium full exhaust system and a special oil developed by Shell (-10% in mechanical friction). The new born from Borgo Panigale is offered with four engine strategies: Full, High, Medium, Low. The clutch is also new and the gearbox has a modified ratios, with the lengthening of first (+11.6%), second (+5.6%) and sixth gear (+1.8%) compared to the previous model. With a view to improving agility and achieving higher centre of gravity, the fork increases its travel.
