After unveiling the first mass-produced hybrid motorcycle, Kawasaki doubles its offering and in fact brings on 2023 EICMA’s catwalk the Z7 Hybrid, which will expected to be on sale during the Spring of 2024. This naked combines a 451 cc, 43.5 kW (59 hp) parallel-twin engine with a 9 kW (12.2 hp) electric motor, powered by a 48V lithium-on battery. The Z7 Hybrid can operate as a full EV with automatic transmission, in Eco-Hybrid or Sport hybrid Modes. In these cases, the user can choose to travel with automatic transmission or to shift gears manually (and without a clutch), with two paddles located on the left side of the handlebars. Those users looking for maximum performance can then activate a button on the right-hand block and take advantage of E-Boost function for 5 seconds. The Z7 Hybrid also features a Walk Mode, for ease of manoeuvring and parking.
