It’s all about travel. That’s what the new Suzuki GSX-S1000GT is called to do. It in fact interprets the sport touring model par excellence, namely a machine ready to performing (yet enjoying) long-distance rides, side panniers included (available as standard). While deriving from the GSX-S1000F, the new bike is characterized by a unique formula, starting with the design, which features sleek lines that gives it a more aggressive and modern look. Even the riding position has changed. The new born from Hamamatsu, in fact, stands out for the new cast-aluminum handlebar, the new seat as well as for the fuel tank. The latter, has 19 litres capacity and fully embraces the traveler’s vocation of this bike. The 999 cc 4-stroke in-line engine, inherited from the previous GSX-S1000F, has been revised and now is Euro 5-compliant and delivers a max power of 152 hp at 11,000 rpm.
