Following the introduction of the new model year, the bimota KB998 Rimini is finally available in a Euro 5+ homologated version.
The new edition is distinguished by an exclusive livery, featuring green accents on the front fairing inspired by the factory race bikes. The design highlights the carbon-fiber bodywork, which partially conceals a highly sophisticated chassis. The chrome-molybdenum steel trellis frame is paired with billet-machined side plates, as well as CNC-machined steering plates. Premium materials such as Anticorodal, Ergal, and Avional aluminum alloys are used extensively throughout the bike. Beneath the fairing lies the proven inline four-cylinder engine from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR, updated with a remapped ECU, optimized wiring, and the addition of an extra oxygen sensor in the exhaust system. Suspensions are handled by Showa, while braking performance comes courtesy of Brembo, with Stylema calipers and 330 mm discs. The standout feature of this KB998 Rimini, however, is its active aerodynamics system. The winglets mounted on the front fairing change their angle during braking to alter aerodynamic load and ensure maximum stability.
