At Stand E80 in Hall 5, Triumph Motorcycles is turning heads with the public debut of the all-new Bonneville T40 and T40 Black.
Expanding the brand's booming 400cc lineup, these machines combine timeless British heritage with authentic 1960s proportions—showcasing iconic teardrop tanks with hand-painted pinstripes, classic round LED headlights, and wire-spoked wheels—all wrapped in exquisite craftsmanship and modern tech. Developed in partnership with Bajaj and fully A2-license compliant, both Bonnies are driven by an evolved Triumph's 400cc TR single-cylinder engine, pumping out 32 PS at 7,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, accompanied by a rich, deep exhaust note delivered by the signature "peashooter" silencers. The tech suite is premium, featuring a circular 4-inch TFT display with integrated turn-by-turn navigation and smartphone connectivity, five RM including Road, Rain, Eco, and two customisable maps, cruise control, Cornering ABS, switchable Cornering Traction Control, and a handy USB-C charging port. Built for effortless, relaxed ergonomics and everyday accessibility, the T40s feature a low standard seat height of 790 mm that drops to 770 mm, a lightweight chassis tipping the scales at just 191 kg, and a center stand included as standard equipment. The standard T40 flaunts striking two-tone paint schemes paired with brilliant chrome and brushed finishes in Aegean Blue/Fusion White, Meriden Blue/Tangerine Orange, and New England White/Jet Black, while the T40 Black embraces a stealthy aesthetic with a Matt Pewter Grey and Matt Phantom Black combination, total-black detailing, and gloss-black aluminum rims. Backed by a massive catalogue of original accessories and an impressive 16,000 km service interval, the new motorcycles will roar into showrooms in Spring 2027, with official pricing announced at the start of the year.
