After debuting as a concept last year, the Fantic Imola gets back to EICMA now as a production bike in two versions: Imola 125 and Imola 500. There are only minor changes in respect from the show bike. The Fantic Imola retains its compact, streamlined shape, featuring a monocoque structure and sharing the platform with the Stealth naked family. Both Fantic Imola models come with advanced engines. The 125 cc 4-stroke Minarelli engine meets the legal limit of 15 HP and incorporates refined technical features, such as variable timing. Minarelli also provides the innovative 500 cc single-cylinder engine, featuring DOHC and weighing under 40 kg. Its power is close to the A2 license limit and can rev up to 10,000 rpm. It’s Euro 5+ compliant and boasts a forged racing-derived piston and a highly compact cylinder head. The Fantic Imola also offers exclusivity and refinement in its chassis. The frame combines a steel tube trellis upper section with aluminum side plates, where the aluminum swingarm with a lower reinforcement strut is anchored. The Fantic Imola models are technologically advanced, equipped with a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth, multi-level traction control, and cornering ABS, all functioning based on data provided by the inertial measurement unit.
