Riding from bright sunshine into the darkness of a tunnel, or facing variable lighting conditions along the road, can truly test any motorcyclist...
Loboo launches the HL08, a smart electrochromic visor that darkens or lightens thanks to a liquid crystal technology capable of reacting in real time, in just 0.01 seconds, to changes in brightness. This solution results much faster than photochromic visors, which instead take several seconds, and at the same time much more practical than a dark inner sun visor that needs to be lowered or raised every time. The Loboo HL08 operates in two modes: Automatic, where the sensor handles everything on its own, or Manual, using an integrated control on the side of the visor that gives you the freedom to easily adjust the tint level, even while wearing gloves. It weighs just 30 grams and installs using an adhesive system on most helmets currently on the market without permanent modifications, allowing you to upgrade your existing helmet without having to replace it. The multi-layer structure includes an anti-fog treatment, an anti-scratch surface, and a hydrophobic coating to maintain visibility even in rain and high humidity, while power is provided by a rechargeable battery via a USB-C port.
