Having obtained a press accreditation for previous edition of EICMA is in no way a prerequisite, there are no invitations and the procedure must be repeated every year.
Only and exclusively requests for press accreditation from people and professionals who hold jobs and positions related to journalism, photo reporting, in media departments, social media and press offices supporting the exhibitors will be accepted.
Requests from representatives of dealers and advertising agencies, public relations and marketing must follow the path of accreditation for PROFESSIONALS. Drivers, teams, VIPs, special guests of exhibitors and other dignitaries or authorities should kindly contact the ceremonial office and the organising secretariat.
Requests for accreditation for those under 16 years and, except for special agreements with the Press Office, requests sent from undefined email addresses such as, by way of example, info@, amministrazione@, segreteria@ will not be taken into consideration. Furthermore, applications with names from professional, corporate and/or publishers of the applicant email addresses will be given preference over general addresses (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Libero or other providers).
The accreditation is personal and cannot be transferred. No type of solution is envisaged for accompaniers, unless they are professions and technicians indispensable for the editorial activity described in point 2, who in turn must proceed individually with the request for accreditation.
Bloggers, YouTubers, owners of websites, profiles and social network pages and more in general, influencers, must provide a brief presentation of their publishing initiative and any documentation of the work done during previous EICMA exhibitions.
The Press Office will evaluate the pertinence of the proposals and will only consider profiles that have been active for more than 12 months (primarily coherent with the sector of reference and with contents of quality), examining all the main metrics of social media analysis.
Save agreement with the Press Office, social network profiles with fewer than 30,000 followers/subscribers will not be taken into consideration (profiles deemed of particular qualitative interest and in line with the EICMA objectives of communication are excluded from this numerical limit). We also repeat that having obtained a press accreditation for previous years of EICMA is in no way a prerequisite.
In the case that your application is accepted, the production of at least two posts/articles/news items on the exhibition and the use of the official EICMA hashtags are recommended.
The Press Office, having evaluated every request and also considered any work produced by the applicant at the previous EICMA exhibitions, reserves the right to grant or not to grant the accreditation. An answer will be given to every application.
Finally, we remind you that the entrance ticket is valid for the entire duration of the event.
For any other particular requirement or proposal and for requests on what is not explicitly shown above, please write to press@eicma.it.
