At Yamaha stand at EICMA the new MT-10 and MT-10 SP stands out. The maxi naked from the Iwata-based manufacturer have been the object of a particularly strong restyling, which involved the engine, chassis and electronics areas. The 998 cc CP4 engine which - thanks to the arrival of some components derived from the R1 - brings peak power to 165.9 hp and maximum torque to 112 Nm. The chassis also inherits something from the R1 super sports bike, in terms of frame and swingarm to be precise. Also of note is the arrival of the semi-active suspension marked Öhlins for the "SP" version. The electronic compartment is characterized by the six-axis IMU inertial platform, which manages all available controls such as traction control, Slide Control, anti-wheelie and engine brake management. There are also four customizable riding modes (A, B, C, D) and four engine mappings (PWR1,2,3,4).
