The new Yamaha TMAX, in dealerships from March 2025, remains faithful the stylistic features that have made it so successful since 2001, with over 400,000 units sold to date. The 560cc 2-cylinder engine develops max power of 35kW at 7000 rpm, so the TMAX can also be ridden by A2 licence holders. Euro 5+ homologated, it features a seat 800 mm from the ground, lighter wheels and the entire front end with full LED headlight has been completely redesigned. Still confirmed are the die-cast aluminium frame, the upside-down fork and the monoshock (adjustable in the Tech MAX version). For 2025 Yamaha added cornering ABS, while the kerb weight rises by 1 kg to 219. The button, positioned in the centre of the handlebar, is an all-rounder: it is used to switch the scooter on and off, lock the steering, lock the centre stand (to make it more difficult to steal) and access the large underseat compartment. All in one, with the Smart Key in your pocket. TMAX Tech MAX riders can access full map Garmin Navigation through the Garmin Motorize App that's available to download on an Apple or Android phone. The instrumentation features a 7-inch TFT colour panel and extensive connectivity. The Tech MAX version features a richer equipment: electrically adjustable windscreen, heated grips and seat, cruise control, compression and rebound adjustable monoshock, tyre pressure sensors (TMPS), lightweight spin forged wheels. Two colours are available for the Tech MAX: Ceramic Grey and Dark Magma.
